Deputy Chief James Dillon is a 30-year member of Company #1. He served as Company Secretary before serving as a Company Line Officer, and served as Company #1's Captain from 1986-1988. Jimmy has also served as Department President from 1996-1998.

Over the years, Deputy Chief Dillon has chaired many different committees within his company and on a department level. He has been the Chairman of the Department Training Committee for over 20 years.

Deputy Chief Dillon is 22-year member of the New York City Fire Department, and is currently serving as a Lieutenant in Queens.

Jimmy was elected 4th Deputy Chief in April 2005.

Deputy Chief Dillon is married with two children, and would not be able to serve as he does now without the total support of his family.
