Heavy Rescue 8730 was put into service
to respond to all Signal 10's, working structure fires,
serious motor vehicle accidents, Hazardous Material (HazMat)
situations, and Mass Casualty Incidents (MCIs), to be
set-up as a command post. In addition, Heavy Rescue 8730
responds to all other rare rescue situations encountered
within the district. Heavy Rescue 8730 holds the latest
technological equipment made for the fire industry today.
HR8730 was purchased in 1997 from the East Meadow Fire
District.
