M-LFD Company
#1 is one of the two firehouse located in Manhasset.
Protecting the east end of the district, Company #1
responds with Engine 8711, Engine 8712, and Rescue 8713. Rescue
8713 is primarily used for confined-space, high-angle,
and water rescues. This specialty piece of apparatus
also responds mutual aid to neighboring fire departments
as a F.A.S.T. at working fires.
In addition to the three pieces of fire apparatus,
Company #1's firehouse is also the home of EMS First
Reponse Vehicle 8799.
