M-LFD Company #3 is a Fire/Rescue Company located on Prospect
Street in the Thomaston section of Great Neck. The firehouse holds various pieces of apparatus,
including Heavy Rescue 8730,
Engine 8735, and Engine
8733, as well as Ambulance 8769
and Ambulance 8767.
Company #3's specialty piece of apparatus, Heavy Rescue
8730, is a vital piece of equipment to the department
and responds to all working structure fires, heavy rescue
calls, automobile accidents, hazardous material situations,
and Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) calls.
Company #3 responds to over 500 calls annually.
