In Front of 1125 Northern Boulevard

On Friday, November 10th, 2006 at just about 12 noon, the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department’s Companies 2, 3 and the Ambulance Unit were toned out to a reported motor vehicle accident in front of 1125 Northern Boulevard.

Heavy Rescue 8730 was the first unit to respond, and upon their arrival found a two car accident with one trapped occupant. The crew of Heavy Rescue 8730, under the command of Captain Garrigan, went into quick action and used their spreader and cutter to help remove the occupant from the vehicle, while NCPD Ambulance 2356 and the crew of Ambulance 8769 stabilized and evaluated the occupant. NCPD Ambulance 2356 transported one victim after the extrication was complete. Additional units on the scene included Engines 8735 and 8725. Chief of Department O’Malley (8702) released all units from the scene within 25 minutes.
