On Tuesday,
November 21st, 2006 at 0614 hours, M-LFD Company #3 responded
to the intersection of South Middle Neck Road and Hillpark
Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. Deputy Chief Dugger
(8703) and Heavy Rescue 8730 responded to the call and
found an accident involving two vehicles. The driver of
a van fell asleep behind the wheel and drove into a parked
tractor trailer. Both individuals inside the van refused
medical treatment. All units were placed on Signal 13
at 0637 hours.
