On December
20th, 2006 at approximately 2030 hours, M-LFD Company
#2 and the Ambulance Unit were toned out to a reported
motor vehicle accident with aided at the intersection
of Northern Boulevard and Shelter Rock Road. Engine 8725,
Ambulance 8769, Fly Car 8799 and Chief of Department O’Malley
(8702) all responded to the call within minutes.
A8769 and FC8799 were the first units to arrive on the
scene and advised dispatch of a corrected call location
of Shelter Rock Road and Old Shelter Rock Road. Units
on scene dealt with a two car accident, with one car sustaining
heavy front end damage, while the second car crashed into
a utility pole. A large spill in the roadway was handled
by the crew of E8725. A8769 and NCPD A2356 both transported
two aided to North Shore University Hospital.
