In Front of 445 Northern Boulevard

M-LFD Company #4, Heavy Rescue 8730, Rescue 8757 & Ambulance Unit

 

On Wednesday, April 18th, 2007 at roughly 1430 hours, M-LFD Companies 4, Heavy Rescue 8730, Rescue 8757 and the Ambulance Unit were toned out to in front of 445 Northern Boulevard for a reported vehicle through the building. Engine 8740 was the first unit to respond to the call, followed by Deputy Chief Dillon (8701).

Upon E8740’s arrival, 1st Lieutenant 4 advised all incoming units of a one car accident involving a utility pole with one aided. He also advised HR8730 that their Hurst tool would be needed to extricate the aided and informed dispatch that the building was not involved in the accident. Heavy Rescue 8730, Ambulance 8767, Tower Ladder 8744 and Fly Car 8799 also responded to the scene.

The patient was extricated from the vehicle by members of Companies 3 and 4 and then transported by A8767. All units were released from scene by DC8701 within thirty minutes.
