On
Sunday, April 29th at around 1500 hours, the M-LFD Ambulance
Unit was alerted to an aided case at Great Neck South
Middle School. Deputy Chiefs Dugger (8703) and Pitzer
(8704) were the first to respond and were advised by Great
Neck Vigilant Dispatch that they were being redirected
to a reported motorcyclist down on the Northern State
Parkway just west of Lakeville Road, and that Ex-Captain
4, who was not involved in the accident, was on the scene
confirming that there were aided.
Both Deputies, along with Deputy Chief Uttaro (8705)
and Ambulance 8769 responded to the downed motorcyclist
along with NCPD 14A. Both A8769 and 14A transported one
aided to North Shore University Hospital. Ambulance 8767
responded to Great Neck South Middle School and transported
the aided at that location to NSUH.
