On
Monday, May 7th, 2007 at roughly 1830 hours M-LFD Company
#5 was toned out to a motor vehicle accident on New Hyde
Park Road at the Northern State Parkway. Company #5 was
originally toned out for a smoking car involved in the
two car accident, but then ended up having to extricate
one of the victims. Co. #5 Ex-Chief Geiman operated the
Hurst tool during the operation.
Chief of Department O’Malley (8702), Deputy Chiefs
Dugger (8703) and Pitzer (8704), Rescue 8757 and Engine
8758 responded, as well as NCPD ESU and two NCPD ambulances.
