Shortly before
1300 on Friday, May 18, 2007, M-LFD Companies 3, 5 and
the Ambulance Unit were toned out for a motor vehicle
accident with aided on the Long Island Expressway Eastbound
at New Hyde Park Road.
Captain 4, acting 8704, was the first unit to respond
and arrive on scene and advised dispatch of a corrected
location of the Westbound Long Island Expressway between
Searingtown Road and Shelter Rock Road. Heavy Rescue 8730,
Ambulance 8769 and Engine 8735 all responded and found
one car on its roof with the occupants self-extricated.
NCPD Ambulances 2356 and 2366, as well as A8769, transported
a total of four aided to North Shore University Hospital. |
