On
Tuesday, July 03rd, 2007, just before 1600 hours, M-LFD
Company #4 and the Ambulance Unit were toned out to a
reported motor vehicle accident in front of 255 Northern
Boulevard AKA Peter Lugar’s.
Engine 8740 and Ambulance 8769 were on the road within
minutes of receiving the alarm, and once on scene, the
officer of E8740 requested that Heavy Rescue 8730 be special
called for their extrication equipment, which would be
needed to free the driver of one of the vehicles involved
in the accident.
Heavy Rescue 8730 responded and Captain Garrigan (Captain
3) put the Hurst Paladin Tool into operation to pop the
driver’s side door of the vehicle. Once accessible,
the driver and passenger of the vehicle were transported
to North Shore University Hospital by A8769. |
