Manhasset-Lakeville Extinguishes Rush Hour Car Fire on the LIE

On Wednesday, March 9th, 2016, at approximately 5:39 p.m., M-LFD Companies 3 and 5 were dispatched to a reported car fire on the Eastbound LIE between Community Drive and New Hyde Park Road. Upon the arrival of the first due units, a fully involved car fire was located in the vicinity of Community Drive. The crews from Companies 3 and 5 worked to extinguish the fire, and all units were released within a half hour.
