Manhasset-Lakeville F.D. Elects New Chief of Department Scott Garrigan

On Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Manhasset-Lakeville F.D. Company #3’s firehouse in Thomaston, 1st Deputy Chief Scott Garrigan was elected and sworn-in as the new Chief of Department.  This evening was extra special for Chief Garrigan as he is also celebrating his 25-year anniversary with the department in 2015.  Now Ex-Chief Michael Farrone, who served as a Chief Officer from 2010-2015, was honored for his years of service to the department.  Ex-Captain Brian Stone of Company #5 was elected the new department’s new 4th Deputy Chief.  Also being honored this evening were several 25-year members including Chief of Department Scott Garrigan, Ex-Chief Kyle Dugger, Ex-Captain John Dolan, Ex-Captain Mitchell Levine and Firefighter Denis McGee.  Preston “Lett” Hicks Sr. is also celebrating his 50th anniversary with the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department.
